NOTICE OF ACTION Wednesday, March 6, 2002 3:30 P.M. _______________________________________ Emergency Meeting   H.R. 3090 Ways & Means Motion to Concur in the Senate Amendment with an Amendment to the Economic Security and Recovery Act of 2001 The Committee granted, by voice vote, a rule providing for a motion offered by the chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means or his designee that the House concur in the Senate amendment with an amendment printed in the report of the Committee on Rules accompanying the resolution. The rule waives all points of order against consideration of the motion to concur in the Senate amendment with an amendment. The rule provides one hour of debate in the House equally divided and controlled by the chairman and ranking minority member of the Committee on Ways and Means. Finally, the rule provides that the previous question shall be considered as ordered on the motion to final adoption without intervening motion.
