NOTICE OF ACTION Tuesday, June 4, 2002 5:00 P.M. _______________________________________   S. 1372 Financial Services Conference Report to Accompany the Export-Import Bank Reauthorization Act of 2002 The Committee granted, by voice vote, a rule waiving all points of order against the conference report and against its consideration.   _______________________________________ EMERGENCY ITEMS H.R. 4664 Science Investing in America's Future Act The Committee granted, by voice vote, an open rule providing one hour of general debate equally divided and controlled by the chairman and ranking minority member of the Committee on Science. The rule waives all points of order against consideration of the bill. The rule provides that the amendment in the nature of a substitute recommended by the Committee on Science now printed in the bill be considered as an original bill for the purpose of amendment. The rule provides that the bill shall be considered for amendment by section. The rule authorizes the Chairman of the Committee of the Whole to accord priority in recognition to Members who have pre-printed their amendments in the Congressional Record. Finally, the rule provides one motion to recommit with or without instructions.   H.R. 2143 Ways & Means Permanent Death Tax Repeal Act of 2001 Testimony heard; action deferred.
